Preparation for the 94.7 has begun in ernest, and I counted 9 cyclists in our group, and another two we crossed along the way. May not sound like much. In fact in Portugal I'd see as many GROUPS in 5 minutes as I did the whole morning in Maputo. However for our reality it was good to see all the usuals out and about preparing themselves for the upcomming races. And what a busy few months ahead:
September 24-25-26 - Tour of Maputo 3 stage race
October 1st Goba Siteki race in Swaziland
October 2nd - Copa dos Campeoes - 20 lap crit around Ex-Facim
October 16th - Amashova in Durban
October 29-30 - Muzundusi Challenge TT and road race
November 10th - Criterium da cidade - last Copa race
November 20th - 94.7, the last race of the season
and a few more I've missed..
So get out there and get training!
